Summary

Not to be confused with Sony's PVM line of professional monitors, the PV-M TVs from Panasonic were consumer grade VCR/TV combo units. The PV-M1338 combines a basic 13" TV with a built-in VCR. It has a single front-mounted mono A/V input.

Notes

The 1997 version of this TV, the PV-M1337, has arguably the most "elite" model number of any CRT produced to date.

This TV uses what is nominally the same tube (37GDA85X) as the CT-S1390Y and a number of 13" Panasonic TVs. However, the mounting tabs are much further back on the frame and spacers will be required if this is used as a replacement. The vertical deflection coil impedance is different from the S1390Y, so the yoke will have to be replaced as well. Fortunately, the convergence rings are separate, so the process is fairly straightforward.
