• Adjusting the yoke on a flat CRT to fix bowing

While this set does have the "WA" board for Velocity Modulation processing and other things, the actual VM signal is not present, depsite what the official webpage claims. So if you do snip the VM wire, it affects vertical positioning of the raster, resulting in the image below. (Apparently, for this set, a different signal is being sent over that wire.) So to put it bluntly, do not cut the VM wire in this set, as there is no need.

Component video quality via the Sony jungle chip is fairly mid. There is misaligned chroma and luma transition errors. An RGB mod would be a marked improvement over component in this case.
