The component video quality looks quite good, which is thanks to it's Philips TDA9377 jungle chip. Reds and blues are pushed a bit, so I recommend to turn down the color saturation to dial it back. While the set sadly has no input for s-video, the chip has been documented to support a modification for that signal. It supports RGB modification too! The Philips jungle chip in this set supports 50hz and other oddball frequencies within the 15khz range. However, it will only be in color over component.
